NPPC 2019 Day 2 Speaker Announced

Washington, D.C., October 10, 2019 — We are pleased to announce Sandra Thompson, Deputy Director for the Division of Housing Mission and Goals for the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), as a 2019 National Property Preservation Conference keynote speaker on November 5.

Ms. Thompson oversees FHFA's research and financial market activities, policy development and analysis, the housing mission and goals of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the community and economic development mission of the Federal Home Loan Banks.

In support of FHFA's mission and the Director's responsibilities as member of the Federal Housing Finance Oversight Board, the Financial Stability Oversight Board, and the Financial Stability Oversight Council, Ms. Thompson is also responsible for overseeing and coordinating FHFA activities involving data analyses, and analysis affecting housing finance and financial markets.

Washington, D.C., October 9, 2019 — The National Property Preservation Conference proudly presents The Hon. Brian D. Montgomery, Assistant Secretary for Housing – Federal Housing Commissioner for the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development, as a keynote speaker for 2019.

We are pleased to announce The Hon. Brian D. Montgomery as a 2019 National Property Preservation Conference keynote speaker on November 4.

Brian D. Montgomery serves as the Assistant Secretary for Housing – Federal Housing Commissioner for HUD. Nominated by President Trump in September 2017, his confirmation marks the first time an individual has served as head of the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) twice, and under three different Administrations.

Mr. Montgomery has also been delegated certain duties of the Deputy Secretary. Through this role he manages the day-to-day operations of the agency and advises and assists the Secretary in leading the Department’s nearly 8,000 employees.
